Acetyl-L-carnitine -- each capsule contains 500 mg of pure acetyl-Lcarnitine. Acetyl-L-carnitine plays a key role in maintaining normal brain and nerve function during aging, as many well-designed human and animal studies have shown consistently. Acetyl-L-carnitine is a naturally occurring metabolite of L-carnitine, and both are present in the diet, particularly in foods of animal origin. Acetyl-L-carnitine capsules may be a useful nutritional adjunct for individuals who wish to support the body’s nervous system and brain function. It is also involved in energy production at the cellular (mitochondrial) level. Acetyl-L-carnitine is a naturally occurring compound that supports normal brain and nerve function during aging through various mechanisms. Uva Ursi is used as a urinary antiseptic for certain types of urinary tract problems (such as UTIs, urinary cystitis, and bladder infections) in people or pets. It has many antimicrobial qualities. It should be used only 10-14 days in a row and then discontinued for the same amount of time before restarting.
