SOLD!! Magick Botanicals Products

A row of 11 bottles of shampoo, conditioner, hair styling products, lotions, etc., a jar of baby powder, and 6 small bottles of products in a zippered plastic pouch with white string handles. The colors white and purple predominate, with stripes of yellow, green, and red as well.

Mary Lou, the founder/owner of Magick Botanicals, has generously donated six 6-piece Travel and Trial Sets of Magick Botanicals products!

Magick Botanicals has been making products for the chemically sensitive and environmentally conscious for many years.

They are made fragrance free, gluten free, and salicylate free, for those with allergies, fragrance sensitivity, chemical sensitivity, environmental illness, and asthma.

A clear plastic pouch with a white zipper along the top and a white rope handle contains a row of six small bottles of products with white caps and mostly purple writing and decoration, along with yellow, green, and red.
The travel set contains shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hair gel & hairspray.

    Two (2) Free Classes with Registered, Certified Yoga Instructor Regine Detremmerie-Carr!

    Attend two yoga classes with Regine Detremmerie-Carr, owner of Great Brook Yoga in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Regine specializes in yoga for women, using yoga to prepare for birth and motherhood, restorative yoga, and Dru yoga. 

    Dru yoga movements originate from the spine and include breath awareness, hand gestures, positive affirmations, and empowering visualizations. Dru is designed to be practiced by people of all abilities, fitness levels, and age groups. Restorative yoga is "the yoga of being rather than doing" and involves passive stretching of the entire body while it is supported by pillows, bolsters, blankets, or other props.  Birth and motherhood classes help the new or expectant mother to develop "a loving relationship with the body, the baby, and ourselves" and can include poses that alleviate discomfort, positions that facilitate labor, and breath awareness and techniques.

    The winner of this item can attend any two of Regine's scheduled classes (no preregistration necessary) of their choice!

    Tanya Stiller, a teacher at the Institute of Urban Homesteading in Oakland is offering one slot in her class, Soup & Salad: Spring Forging Expedition.

    About the class: 
    In Soup & Salad: Spring Forging Expedition, you will forage and taste greens and vegetables that you see every day, growing around your neighborhood. You will learn to identify, use and process both urban weeds and native East Bay edibles and explore which wild foods are best to eat raw in a salad, cooked into a spring soup, or used as medicinal tea. You will leave this class with a full belly, as well as an understanding of some traditional ethnobotanical uses of common east bay plants and which may be safely harvested to eat. Bring clothing appropriate for weather, and comfortable walking shoes that can get dirty. For adults or youth ages 12 and up. Meets Sunday April 28, 2012, 10am-1pm.

    About the instructor:
    Tanya Stiller has been teaching for over 15 years as an herbalist, nutritionalist, gardener and now in the last couple of years as a permaculturalist. She currently lives in Berkeley, CA teaching gardening and nutrition at Rosa Parks elementary school. You can also find her teaching classes on seaweed harvesting, foraging, and homesteading through the Institute of Urban Homesteading and the Ecology Center.
